About the camp

A meaningful programme for children who want to create

Do your children long for a YouTuber career? Do they follow internet stars and want to become one themselves? Register them for the Young YouTuber day camp, where they will learn to shoot their own videos and then edit them effectively. Help your children start their star career. Children at the camp will enter the world of a YouTuber. They will create graphics in Adobe Photoshop, create videos, which they will also learn to edit in Adobe Premiere. They will also create their own YouTube channel and "hang" on it their own cut and edited video, which they will film during one of our walks. Can you look forward to great vacation videos? The goal of the camp is to discover your children's talent and encourage them to continue developing it. They will start using the computer at home also for creative work, not only for playing. Every young YouTuber also deserves a certificate, which we will give them after the camp ends. The day camp is intended for children aged 7 to 15.

The camp runs Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 16:00 in the Macrosoft training centre in Bratislava.

Video Creation

  • From the first idea to the final edit! We will learn how to work with a camera correctly, what types of shots there are and why good sound is important. We will dive into the secrets of Adobe Premiere, where we will breathe life into our videos - add effects, music and transitions so that the result is truly professional.

Graphics for YouTube

  • The video is finished, but how do we attract viewers to it? We will create engaging thumbnails that catch attention at first glance and design our own original banner for the channel. In Adobe Photoshop, we will learn to work with layers, text and images so that our channel gets a unique visual style.

Working with YouTube

  • It is time to launch our own channel! We will go step by step through creating an account, correct settings and the first video upload. We will show how to write engaging titles and descriptions and also look into YouTube Studio, where we will find out who our viewers are and what videos they like the most.

Online Safety

  • Becoming a YouTuber also means being a responsible creator. We will talk about how to protect privacy, what to watch out for in comments, how to recognize hoaxes and what cyberbullying is. We will learn the rules of the digital jungle so that we feel safe and confident in it.

Fun and Movement

  • Even the best YouTuber needs to rest and gain new inspiration! Team games, sports activities and lots of fun in the fresh air await us, where we will clear our heads, meet new friends and gain energy for more creative creation.
